Draft and edit an agenda with AI

Describe a session to get a first draft, then ask the Assistant for changes and accept or reject each one before it touches your agenda.

AI does two jobs in Agendaflow. On the dashboard it writes a first draft from one line about your session. In the builder, the Assistant reads what you ask for and proposes changes to the agenda you already have — nothing is applied until you say so. Both spend AI actions, and the cost sits on every button that charges one.

Before you start

You need AI actions left. A trial has 20 in total; Solo has 100 a month and Team has 250 per seat a month, and both reset monthly. Your balance is in the user menu as {used} / {limit} AI actions — click it to open Plan & Billing.

Steps

Get a first draft

  1. On the dashboard, describe the session in the field under What session do you have coming up? One line is enough — what it is and how long you have. If you already have agendas, the same field sits under Start something new.
  2. Optionally add material: the paperclip (Add a screenshot or a document) attaches a photo of an old agenda, and the microphone (Speak your brief) lets you dictate instead of typing. Dictation is free.
  3. Click Draft with AI.
  4. Answer A few quick questions by tapping the chips that fit, then click Continue. Skipping is fine — the button reads You decide until you pick something. These questions cost nothing.
  5. Writing the full draft. This usually takes a couple of minutes. You land in the builder when it is done. This is the step that spends one AI action.

Ask for changes to an existing agenda

  1. In the builder, click Assistant in the header. On a phone it is Assistant in the bottom bar.
  2. The panel opens with what this plan needs — blocks without a description, no break in a long stretch, a day that overruns. Those findings are calculated, not generated, and free.
  3. Type what you want into Ask or paste notes… and send with the arrow button or ⌘/Ctrl+Enter. Sending spends one AI action. Paste forty words or more — notes from a client call, say — and the field turns into {count} words pasted with a Suggest changes button instead.
  4. Read Proposed changes. Every card starts ticked; untick Include this change on the ones you do not want. A card marked Out of date is one whose block you edited after it was proposed, and it cannot be applied.
  5. Click Apply {count} changes, or Discard all to drop the whole list. The footer is accurate: Applying is free. AI can make mistakes.
  6. Check the result. The card {count} changes applied has Undo this, and Your agenda as it was is saved as a version you can roll back to.

When changes are applied, a new or moved block gets a start time from the block before it, and the blocks after it shift by exactly what was inserted or removed. Times you typed by hand are kept, and a locked block stops the shift. Accepting a change never locks anything.

Tip: The + beside the message field holds three bigger moves: Paste notes from a meeting, Review the whole agenda and Translate the agenda. The two with a sparkle spend an action. Purple plus a sparkle means the same everywhere: this button costs one AI action.

What to do next

Once the draft is in place, adjust the shape by hand — see Blocks, days and start times. If the balance runs out mid-trial, Your trial, and what happens when it ends explains what each plan includes.
